Artist Statement
Painter with 9 years of full-time studio practice, working in acrylic and oil on canvas. Paints the landscapes of South India — backwaters, the Western Ghats in the monsoon, lotus ponds and marigold fields — in thick, directional brushwork, alongside a series of colour-field abstracts. Two solo shows, eleven group shows, 140+ original works in private collections in India and abroad, and 60+ commissions for homes, offices and a heritage hotel. Teaches weekend painting workshops and an online course.

- Sold 140+ original canvases to private collectors in India, the UK, Singapore, the UAE and the US, directly and through two galleries; originals priced ₹18,000–₹1,20,000.
- Completed 60+ commissions — living-room pieces, office lobbies and a 24-work series for a 40-room heritage boutique hotel in Puducherry, delivered in 5 months.
- Runs a limited-edition giclée print line (editions of 50); 900+ prints sold through her own site and two design stores.
- Built an Instagram following of 26,000 through process videos; 40% of commissions now arrive through it.
Weekend workshops, Chennai · online course
- Has taught acrylic landscape and palette-knife technique to 1,100 adults and children in 90+ weekend workshops.
- Wrote and filmed an 8-module online course, "Painting the Monsoon", with 2,400 enrolments and a 4.8 / 5 rating.
