Kavita founded and runs the Jugaad Lab club, where students design and build their own projects.

Kavita has taught for seven years in Jaipur. At a CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school of 1,900 students she teaches Science to five sections across Classes 6–8 — about 190 students a year — and coordinates a middle-school Science team of six. Before that she taught Mathematics to Classes 4–5 and Science to Classes 6–7 at a CBSE-affiliated day school.
She holds a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a B.Ed. from the University of Rajasthan, qualified CTET Paper II in Mathematics and Science in 2018, and teaches in English and Hindi.
