What is an ATS resume check?
An applicant tracking system (ATS) is the software many employers use to collect and search applications. An ATS check tests whether that software can read your resume correctly — layout, sections, contact details and keywords — so you are not filtered out for reasons that have nothing to do with your experience.
Is this ATS checker really free?

Is my resume uploaded anywhere?
No. The free check runs entirely in your browser. Your resume is only sent to Fieldcraft if you choose to get the full report, and then only to prepare it.
What score should my resume get?
Aim for 80 or above. Below 60 usually means something structural — a two-column layout, a scanned file or missing sections — that is worth fixing before you apply anywhere.
Which file should I upload, PDF or Word?
Either. Check the file you actually send to employers. A text-based PDF or a .docx both work; an old .doc or a photo of your resume does not.
